I’m Michael Nouwens.
I founded Nouwing because I want to build software everyone uses — software that helps people, and never takes advantage of them. We follow Catholic truth. We code the truth.
Too much of the industry lives on a cut of your work, a claim on your customers, or a reason to keep you inside the product. I want the other kind: tools you own, that serve the people who use them, and that leave you freer than they found you.
Nouwing is a family of different projects. A way to get paid without a middleman who stays forever. A way to give that actually reaches the person in need. Roads to the holy places. Each one is a chance to put technology toward the good — and to bring us closer together to what matters.

Most software makes money by holding on to you — a cut of your work, a lock on your customers, a reason you cannot leave. Nouwing will not build that. If it does not help people, it does not ship.
02 · THE RULE
Nouwing follows Catholic truth. That is why the company exists. Not because it looks good on a website, but because the work has to be true, or it is not worth doing.
03 · THE WORK
Words on this page do not help anyone. What matters is software you reach for: to pay, to give, to go on pilgrimages, to practice a craft — with other people, in real life.
04 · THE END
Nouwing is not trying to keep you in an app. The work is to bring us closer to God, and closer to one another. That is the only reason any of this is worth building.
